Production of lumber
Quality has top priority in our lumber production. Proper barking of the logs, a clean saw cut and dimensional stability in thickness can be taken for granted. In our latest development, thick logs are sawn and centre-cut in one operation, which makes it considerably easier, particularly for the processor, to handle these heavy logs. We attach particular importance to proper care of the wood at the lumber location. Exact stacking and covering of the freshly sawn wood guarantee slow, uniform and gentle drying. This allows the wood to retain its characteristic colours, and its tension can dissipate gradually. Final gentle vacuum drying guarantees lumber that will meet even the highest standards.
